This year's Eagle Festival will be on March 14, 2026. Experience live eagle and other birds of prey programs, kid’s programs and activities, Eagle Prowls and Wildlife Drive tours, nature and conservation exhibits, and food all day! Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) is home to one of the largest breeding populations of bald eagles in the United States. Each year, Blackwater NWR holds an Eagle Festival in March to celebrate our national symbol.
