Celebrating the Friends 30th Anniversary

The Friends of Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) celebrated their 30th anniversary in 2017. At our Annual Meeting on October 14, 2017, a host of honored guests presented commendations and citations to the Friends for their 30 years of service to Blackwater NWR and the local community. Honors were received from U.S. Senators Ben Cardin and Chris Van Hollen, U.S. Representative Andy Harris, Maryland State Senator Addie Eckardt, and the Dorchester County Council. Thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate 30 years of protecting Blackwater NWR!
